Well, she's not so wild, but she is precious!! These were my first bluebonnet pics to ever take. She was such a great model!

I rarely catch it, but happened to see this past week's Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The deserving family included a photographer mom who photographs infants and preemies, primarily babies who have not or are not going to make it. This leaves the parents with memories that they will treasure for ever and helps the parents see the child as a more permanent member of the family, even if they're not a permanent being on earth. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, looking more into it I realized the mother was volunteering for the non-profit organization Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.

I know I'm not near a strong enough photographer yet, and not yet a strong enough person, but this is something that really touches me and I would really love to get involved in it.

What better way to live than to find a way to use your passions to help others? I saw this Winston Churchill quote on the nilmdts page "You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give"
